Sublimated Birthday Shirts

Since I had a Frozen design for our granddaughters third birthday we decided she needed a shirt.  We doing sublimated shirts you need to use 100% polyester but, we did not have the right material.  We did however have this dyepress material that you can use to sublimate on shirts that are not 100% polyester.  So we found a design and sized it up on the shirt.

Then my husband put the dyepress on the shirt and sublimated the shirt.  It turned out pretty good just wished it was a little darker but, it went very well with the Frozen theme. At first I was just going to do the shirt with Elsa but, I decided that it would look better with both sisters.
Her sisters birthday is next month so we did a little celebration for her the day before her sister's birthday so that they each had their own special day.  For the two year old we did Sophia the First and her shirt was also sublimated using the Dyepress material.

Pretzel wands

I had seen on Pinterest how to make pretzel wands and I thought they would be cute to do. I got some white chocolate chips and some colored sugar along with some pretzel sticks.  I melted the chocolate at 10 second intervals then I dipped the pretzels in them and sprinkled on the colored sugar.
From there I just placed them in a little bucket I picked up at Party City that has the Frozen design and Sophia the first on it.  They were very tasty we all enjoyed them. Then afterwards our granddaughters got to play with their little buckets.  I also purchased some cool sunglasses that had a tiara attached to the top of the frame, one was a Frozen design and the other was Sophia The First.

Birthday banner

Memorial Day weekend my husband and I drove up to Virginia to pick up our granddaughters and their dog.  They had a house fire and was living in a hotel; our daughter was still deployed.  So we gave them the option of going to get the girls and bring them back to Mississippi and stay with us until they can get a new place to live.

The Navy arranged for our daughter to get home a week later so her husband and her could get moved out and relocate.  The girls were with us for the whole month of June.  The oldest one's birthday was spent with us in MS.  So I decided we not only needed to celebrate her birthday but, also her sisters which is at the end of July, since we will not be with her then.

I found online a free banner and using my Silhouette I did a print and cut.  Then I hung it on our living room mirror.  For our three year old we did Frozen, here is the banner that I did.

Here is the banner that I did for our two year old.  Love how both of them looked on our mirror.

Cupcake toppers

Using my Silhouette Cameo I did another print and cut, for these Frozen cupcake toppers.  I opened the topper photo in the Silhouette program and then I traced the outside and I  lined the trace up with the photo so that I can print it and then cut it out.  I was very pleased how well it not only traced but, cut, Then all I had to do was glue two back to back along with putting a toothpick in between.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes and I had 6 frosted in a light blue to look like frozen ice color. Our granddaughter really liked it a lot.

For the two year old we had them decorated in dark purple and I traced a circle around the photo and did a print and cut just like the Frozen ones above.  Both of the granddaughters really enjoyed the cupcakes along with the little toppers.
