Easter Bucket for SIL

I was on Pinterest looking for ideas for an Easter basket for our SIL, when I came across this really good idea.  Here is the link.

I really loved this idea but, I did not want to paint the beer holder.  So I made a few changes, first I purchased a bucket at Michaels for 50% off.

Using my Silhouette Cameo I took some gold vinyl and designed and cut out the saying. I then placed it on the bucket.

Then using my Silhouette Cameo I took some bunny ears I already had and I then drew out a rectangle and attached the two pieces.  From there I took the bunny ear and made it smaller.  This piece was the inside of the ears.

I took some craft paper and cut out six sets of bunny ears then with pink craft paper I cut out all the insides.

All I had to do was glue the pink parts inside the bunny ears.

Here it is ready to go.  We went to VA to see our granddaughters and SIL for Easter, so I did not finish putting this together until we got there.  The night before Easter my husband and I took the bunny ears and glued the rectangle so all we had to do was put them on top the bottles.

We waited until they came to the hotel to glue the cotton tails on.  I brought all I needed to complete the bucket and the girls baskets.

The ears are sitting crooked but, here is the front view.
Here is the back with the cotton tail.
Here it is all together, we even added some goldfish carrots and some chips.

Lighted canvas

I have had this dandelion design for sometime, I wanted to do one for both of my granddaughters.  Since they share a room I decided to do them where the dandelion is going in different directions and it has a different saying on it.

This was a pretty easy project I just cut the vinyl out using my Silhouette Cameo and then applied it to the canvas.  From there my husband put the holes in the canvas and added the small LED lights.  Really am pleased how they turned out.

Here is a photo with the lights off.

Now with the lights on.

Sublimated Phone Case

This is my husbands project, he took a friends photo and sublimated it on a phone case.  This is not the first phone case he has done but, the other ones have photos of people on them so we do not publish them unless they are of us.  We do this out of respect to the owners of the phone cases.

Really like how the photo sublimated on the phone case the color is really good.

Yoga water container

We purchased these water bottles for sublimation and I thought it would be nice to have one for yoga.  I came up with the design and I wanted it not to bright just a nice light color. The yoga pic is on both sides and in the middle in light green is the word namaste.

Nurse's water botttle

I made this for a friend who is a nurse and she does not drink coffee but, instead drinks water.  I thought she could use this at work.

I am so pleased how it turned out.

Butterfly box and monogram flag

Just a cut little box that I cut out with card stock to put a gift in for my friends birthday.  I got the design from the Silhouette store and I made it larger so that it would hold the gift I made.

This is a one sided sublimated garden flag.  This is a combination monogram between my friend and her husband. Middle initial is their last name first initial is his first name, then the last one is her first name.

Tutu Easter baskets

Last year I did put vinyl on some buckets for my granddaughter's for Easter.  Instead of using the buckets that they have been playing with I decided to decorate them new baskets.

I found these baskets on sale at Michaels for $1.00, then I found tulle on sale at Hobby Lobby for half off.  I cut the tulle 12 inches long, then I folded them it in half threaded it through a top hole and put a slip style knot and did this in alternating colors.

Here is a photo of the baskets before the tulle.

Here is a photo with them all done.

I love how I matched their dresses.

Here is a photo with the baskets all put together.  The only candy is some Peeps on a stick.  The eggs have Star Wars graham crackers and then I made some carrots using a pastry bag and filling it with goldfish and closing it with green yarn.  Then we added a book along with a monkey with bunny ears.

Easter Candles

I took the St. Patrick's Day vinyl off my candles and I put some Easter designs on them.  I plan on picking up some more of these LED candles with out the glitter this kind the vinyl sticks to so much better.  Plus, it comes off really easy too.

When I took the St. Patrick's day vinyl off I decided to put the shamrocks on wax paper and maybe they will be able to be reused next year.

For the white candles I cut out the vinyl using my Silhouette Cameo I happened to have some pretty lavender.  I have this ornate cross that I thought would look perfect.  Here is the end result with a flash and without.

For the glitter candles I cut out some lavender bunnies and some light yellow ducks.

Sublimated Kitchen Trivet

Found this cute iron trivet, while placing an order with Conde.  We were already ordering the tile that goes in this trivet I decided to go ahead and order it.

Once the item arrived I was so looking forward to putting a design on the tile. The best part about this is the design will be sublimated so it can be used as a trivet or a wall hanging.

It took a bit for me to come up with the design I wanted.  I seen something similar in the Silhouette store.  I have some utensils with a scroll design but, I did not want the scroll part.

So I took the eraser and took off all the scroll.  Then I was going to fix at the bottom of the utensils.  But, I just put a box at the bottom and erased the open lines from the utensils that were in the box.

Picked out my font which is Milkshake and then put the colors I wanted.  It needed a little something more and with my husband's input I put a nice corner scroll and changed all the utensils to one color and then it looked just right.

Here is the before photo.

Here is the after photo, the tile is not attached yet. This was just sublimated yesterday.  Once it is hanging up I will post a photo.

Replaced wall vinyl.

On October 20, 2014 I finally decided what design I wanted on my bedroom wall that has blank space above and below a cross.  The vinyl I used was not very good vinyl but, it looked good and stuck.

The past couple days the vinyl on the word faith has been peeling off the wall.  So it was time for it to be replaced.  When my husband was home at lunch, I told him I am loosing my faith, then I said not literally but, not figuratively.  :)

Using my Silhouette Cameo I quickly found my work and cut the word in a better vinyl.  Then I took some painters tape and marked all around the old vinyl.  From there I easily pulled off the old vinyl.

Then I replaced it with the new vinyl.  So pleased with how it turned out.

Here is the before photo.

Now, here is the after photo, this vinyl is glossy and the other one was flat.  It will last longer, I will eventually change the bottom part just did not feel like it today.
