New Easter Wreath

So I have had this Easter wreath over 10 years. It was one of the first wreaths I ever made.
The purple Easter grass started coming off so I wrapped purple ribbon around it.

I took apart my old wreath with the plan to use the bow, bunny and eggs on a new wreath. I was able to get all the glue off the bunny and fix up the bow.  Plus, I got the glue off the eggs and I took off the grass from the straw wreath. I will keep the straw wreath for another project.

In one of the Facebook groups I belong in I seen where this lady took bath poofs and made a wreath. It was so cute, then someone posted a video showing a different way of doing it without using floral pins.

I purchased a 13in white foam wreath at Hobby Lobby. I then cut the wreath at the seam mark.

I purchased some bath poofs and I picked up two solid colored ones and four that had three colors. Depending on the size of the wreath will determine how many poofs you need, most use only two.
There is a string in the center that keeps the bath poof shape.  You cut that and the poof comes a part. this is what the two above look like once apart.

The one with the three colors is not as long as the one that is just one color the white and lite pink are shorter then there is the darker pink which is just a little longer.

Once you have the poof all a part you take and scrunch it all together where you have both end pieces.  Then you slip the poof over the opening of the wreath and slide it on like a pair of nylons.

I forgot to get a photo of this step. This wreath took two bath poofs.  I used the two that were mufti-colored.  Once I placed the material on the wreath I took heavy duty packing tape and taped the wreath back together.  Then I took the bow from my old wreath and attached it to the new wreath.

From here I placed the bunny on the wreath.
I had planned on putting the old plastic eggs on my new wreath but, my husband and I was at Dollar Tree the other day and we picked up these pretty colored eggs.  He told me that is what we got them for so just use them.  I have to say I really like the way they look.
With my husband's help I placed the eggs on the wreath. I wanted to make sure the eggs could be seen with the colors of the wreath.

I really like how easy it was to make this wreath and that I re-did my old Easter wreath.  I love the new eggs they are clear with some cut diamond pattern.

St. Patrick's Day Decorations.

I finally  finished my St. Patrick's Day decorations.  I found this cute favor basket in the Silhouette store and I downloaded it.
This is Design ID #75087 and it is called, shamrocks trio mini favor basket.  I cut two of them out and and changed the colors.  From there I added some green rocks and some Rollos candy to make it look like gold.

Here are photos showing what is inside.

Then I purchased this little bucket and I picked up another one for the other side of the table. I did the same thing with the green glass and Rollos.  I put some plastic bags in the buckets so they glass and candy would come to the top.

I put some green and white fabric flowers along with some shamrock picks in the bottles on the table.

I purchased an Irish saying from the Silhouette store and instead of doing it in vinyl I just printed it out on photo paper and placed it in a frame.
Here is a photo of everything all together, I like how it turned out.

My Daughter's Easter Wreath.

My daughter is in the Navy and stationed in Virgina with her husband and two daughters.  I make a lot of different crafts and they usually get most of the things I made.

Well, my daughter wanted to make a Easter wreath.  She called me from Michael's to get some info on finding the type of foam wreath she wanted.   She purchased the ribbon and wreath at Michael's
I reminded her to use her phone and use the coupon.

Everything else she picked up at Dollar Tree.

Materials used.
Foam wreath (1)
Spools of ribbon (2)
Plastic eggs (5)
Plastic chicken eggs (2)
Yellow Easter Grass

She tightly wrapped the foam wreath with the ribbon and hot glued the ends.

She filled the chickens with the grass yellow Easter grass.

Then she hot glued the Easter eggs and the yellow chicks on the wreath. Here is her completed Easter wreath.
Love how colorful and cute this turned out. Way to go Cassandra.

Wine Sippy Cups

Last weekend my friend was in town for Mardi Gras. I had some plastic cups that have the wine glass inside so that was what we planned on using for the parade.  But, me being me I just could not have us go with a plain cup.  I did not have the time or the colors of vinyl to layer my project so I used a printable vinyl and quickly put the colors how we wanted and then cut it out.  I also added a saying for the other side. When using printable vinyl I put other designs on there since it can only be printed and cut once.

The first time the saying did not work so I did it again and it did work. Here is the first design love how this turned out. The vinyl is water resistant not water proof so I will need to spray it with something but, it worked perfectly for our wine and for the parade.

Here is the saying, we love how this looked.

Here is a close up of the saying.  Love that I have the different colors of Mardi Gras thank goodness for printable vinyl.

Monogram Shamrock

First off I am not usually one to do monograms. I do not care for the middle initial to be the last name even through that is the proper way just looks weird but, with that said I have this Shamrock monogram that I wanted to put on a shirt for my friend who's birthday is March 17th and then I wanted to do one for myself.

I put hers on a grey shirt. I messed up and ironed the shamrock on first then the monogram and I had trouble with it and the circle that goes around the monogram came off.  She was happy with it.  I did hers in a Navy blue color for the initials.  I forgot to get a photo of hers.

I did not want mine to match hers, I put my on a black shirt and cut the monogram out in yellow love both color choices. I did miss a part that I should have taken off but, other than that they both look ok.  Problem is I did not measure correctly and my shamrock sits right on my left breast.  So I have learned to put the shirt on and mark just wear I want it.  Plus, I found a measuring guide for where to put designs on shirts.  Here are some photos of the shirt I did for myself.

50 Shades of Gray

In one of my Facebook groups I came across this design and I thought my friend would like to have it. I knew she was going to see the movie and I just wished I had seen it sooner so she could wear to the movie.  But, she lives two hours away and there would be no way to get it to her.

She loved it and I put it on a shirt and a coffee cup for her.  The cup I just happened to have on hand.
I would of loved to have it on a black shirt with gray heat transfer material but, I since I didn't I used a gray shirt with black heat transfer material.  I really like how it turned out.

The coffee cup is a tall white cup and I just happened to have some gray outdoor vinyl.  Here is one side of the cup showing the design.
Here is the other side. Very happy with how the both turned out.

Tile for my kitchen

I seen this design at the Silhouette store and I thought it would look perfect in my kitchen on a white tile.  I wanted the words to pop and be seen better so I did an offset of black.

The design can be found in the Silhouette store it is  Design ID #59617.

Here is a photo of the offset with a square so I can line it up.

Forgot to take a photo of the top one until it was on the transfer tape. But, my husband held it up for me to get a photo before we joined the two pieces together.

Here it is completed and ready for my kitchen.
Love the color choices and how it turned out.

Decorated a Dollar Tree Coffee Mug

I have had these Dollar Tree coffee mugs for awhile and I was looking for something to put on one of them.  Then in one of my Facebook groups how someone decorated a coffee cup with a bow and I really liked it.

So I cut it out in dark purple and pink but, when I applied it, I did not line it up right.  So I took it off and cut it out again using my Silhouette Cameo.  I picked different colors and I lined it up so much better. I am so happy how this turned out.

It is done in lavender and pink.  It is Oracle 631 so I will hand wash it which I do anyway with my vinyl.

Wal-Mart LED night lights.

These night lights are found with the bath section with the towels.  They come in various colors of glass they are just under $6.00  I cannot put it in my hallway since it is supposed to turn on at dusk and off at dawn.  There is just not enough light in the hall for it to work.

A lady on one of the Facebook groups I belong to posted a beautiful bird she did in vinyl on a night light and I really liked how it looked she was kind enough to upload the file for all of us to use.

Here is a photo of what type of night light it is.
I cut it out in brown gloss vinyl.  here it is with the light off.

Here it is when the light is on. Love how this turned out and how it looks.
