Yoga Shirt

I had some t-shirt material and I wanted to put something on my workout shirt.  Using my Silhouette Cameo I cut out in white flocked the OM symbol.  Then I took the black flat t-shirt material and put the words. "LIVE THE LIFE YOU LOVE". It took me a bit to get the letter size right but, so happy with the results.

Modge podge ornament and canvas.

My friends dog had passed away and I decided to do a mod podge photo ornament like I did of my granddaughter's feet.  I also made her a canvas mod podge of her dog.  Here is the results of both.

My husband had seen this sign at the same time I was ordering a necklace that had the same message on a card. I purchased this burlap 8x8 canvas for another project but, did not use it so used my Silhouette Cameo and cut out the words and put it on the canvas and gave it to him.

Granddaughter's foot print ornament.

Two weeks after my granddaughter was born we painted her feet and placed them on a canvas. My husband mentioned I should scan the feet just to have them down the road for a project. Well, that was a great idea and they were used for a project.

I found on the website below how to take the baby's foot prints and put them on an ornament.  I had the photo printed out at Walgreen's and followed the directions step by step.  No matter what the paper would not come off.

So I printed using my Cannon MX452 color printer and it worked perfectly.  I did not take photos of the process but, here are the steps I took.

1. Cut your photo to a small square.

2. Cover the photo with clear packing tape.  cover the paper completely, you can overlap the paper but, do not fold excess over the edge.  Trim the edges so you have a nice smooth look. Smooth out any air bubbles.

3.  Place photo in a small bowl of water and let it soak.  Once the paper has soaked you should be able to rub the paper off, just do not rub to hard or you may take off the ink.

4.  Once all the paper is off let the photo air dry.  Then take your ornament and put mop and glow inside gentle swirl it around and then pour out the excess.

5. Then pick out your fine glitter color and put in your ornament swirl to cover the inside of the ornament completely.  Pour out the excess glitter and save for another project.

6. Take the ornament and put mod podge where you would like the photo to go.  My husband trimmed the feet so they would fit better.  I then mod podge over the top just to give it a good seal.

7. I let it dry then I took a paper towel and hot water and wiped around the ornament and photo.

8. Finishing step I took my Silhouette Cameo and on the back in pink vinyl I added First Christmas and the year and on the front above her feet I added her name. The ribbon is from her mommy's baby shower.  The ornament is the large M&M style ornament.

Here is the end result.

Catching up.

This post is photos of the rest of the different ornaments that I had made.  My husband and I found these cupcake boxes that has four spots and they held the ornaments just right.  They all arrived at their destination with no problem. Below are photos of the rest of the ornaments that I made.
I forgot to take a photo of the first one so I asked my friend to send me a pic.  It is from her cell phone but, you can see how they fit in the cupcake box.  On the back of the small gold one is the date and the big one has their family name.
